Allied Moulded SB Series SliderBox 4" Round Switch/Receptacle Outlet Box

The Allied Moulded SB-CB SliderBox is a 4-inch round non-metallic outlet box designed for versatile mounting in both wall and ceiling applications. Constructed from high-strength, engineering-grade thermoplastic, this box features a patented slider plate mechanism that allows for easy adjustment to varying wall or ceiling thicknesses. The internal rail system ensures smooth movement of the slider plate, eliminating the need to remove or relocate mounting screws during positioning. It offers a generous 25.0 cubic inch capacity and includes two 1/2-inch knockouts for flexible wiring entry. This box is UL listed for 2-hour fire-resistive walls and ceilings and is rated to support fixtures up to 50 lbs. It is an ideal solution for installations involving granite, tile, or double-layered drywall where standard box depths may be insufficient.

Molded of engineering grade non-metallic thermoplastic. Adjustable, no need to remove or relocate mounting screws to re-position the box. Slots retain slider plate and guide it in a straight motion.
