It features a unique dual-cylinder design that provides a dedicated master keyway for maintenance access while maintaining a separate cylinder for tenant use. Both cylinders utilize SmartKey Security technology, allowing property managers to re-key the lock in seconds without removal from the door. This ANSI/BHMA Grade 2 certified deadbolt is constructed with a solid zinc housing and a steel bolt for superior kick-in resistance. The Satin Chrome finish offers a professional, corrosion-resistant aesthetic suitable for modern commercial and residential applications. It includes an adjustable backset to fit standard door preparations and comes with all necessary mounting hardware.

Kwikset SmartKey® Deadbolt allows for the tenant key to be quickly and easily rekeyed with the additional benefit of maintaining a seperate master key system to be utilized for maintenace access to the unit(s). The benefit of this deadbolt means that you no longer need to retain possession of every tenant key to gain maintenace access. Additionally, to integrate this deadbolt into a master key system, you will need to utilize a passage lockset in place of a standard entry lockset. Grade 2 security. Satin Chrome finish.
