This Louisville 16 ft fiberglass extension ladder has a 300 lb load capacity, rated ANSI type I. It is equipped with the maxlock rung lock, custom engineered from a patented, advanced molecular polymer, maxlock is the strongest, toughest, lightest rung lock ever made. This ladder also includes the patented quicklatch system that provides a simple, intuitive method of securing the fly and base sections of the ladder when extended. The ladder features outside slide guides, D-shaped rungs fully serrated for a slip-resistant surface, non-marring rail end caps, rope and pulley and steel swivel safety shoes with metal shield to be used with the tread down or in-spike position.

Mar-resistant end caps on all rail ends provide rail protection for longer life and protect work surface from marring. Heavy-duty plated steel swivel safety shoes with thick rubber tread. QUICKLATCH equipped runglock provides easier method of securing fly base sections when extended. Tempered, serrated aluminum D-shaped rungs provide for a slip-resistant surface. Two extra heavy-duty outside slide guides secured to top of base section with four rivets per guide for maximum strength. Dimensions for 16': Ra ils 3-1/4" wide; 1.2" Rail flange; 1.626" Rung; Base outside width 17-1/16"; Fly outside width 16-1/16". Dimensions for 40': Rails 3-5/16" wide; Rail flange; Rung; Base outside width 17-11/16"; Fly outside width 16-11/16". Meets or exceedsthe safety standards set by ANSI and OSHA. FE3216 does not include rope and pulley.
