The Fernco Pro-Flex 3000-150 is a high-performance shielded transition coupling designed to create rigid, long-lasting joints between 1-1/2 inch pipes. This specialty coupling connects cast iron, plastic, or steel piping to plastic, steel, or extra-heavy cast iron, making it ideal for diverse DWV applications. It features a durable neoprene gasket that provides a positive seal against infiltration and exfiltration while reducing noise and vibration. The assembly is reinforced with a 300-series stainless steel shield and 301 stainless steel clamps to resist shear forces and maintain pipe alignment. Engineered for above-ground use, it installs easily with a 5/16-inch hex torque wrench set to 60 in-lbs.
