Constructed from high-quality flexible PVC, this cap is suitable for both above-ground and underground applications and is compatible with cast iron, steel, copper, and plastic piping. Its unique convex face design allows it to withstand higher internal pressures during testing while effectively minimizing ballooning. Installation is straightforward, requiring only a standard torque wrench to tighten the included 300-series stainless steel clamp to 60 inch-pounds for a leak-proof seal.
