The Square D 9036DG2R is a Pumptrol series float switch engineered for precise liquid level control in open tank and sump applications. This DPST-DB (Double Pole Single Throw, Double Break) switch features a reverse action mechanism where contacts open on liquid rise, making it specifically suited for tank filling operations. Housed in a NEMA 1 general-purpose enclosure, the unit is designed for pedestal mounting and can be used as a direct motor controller or a pilot for larger starters. It is rated for up to 575V AC and 10A, supporting single-phase motor loads up to 2 HP at 115V and 3 HP at 230V. The enclosure includes three 1/2-inch conduit knock-outs for streamlined wiring and installation. Please note that the float and rod assembly are sold separately as accessories.
