1 in x 300 ft White PEX-B Tubing Coil for Potable Water

PEX is a high-performance cross-linked polyethylene (PEX-B) tubing engineered for reliable potable water distribution in residential and commercial applications. This 1-inch nominal diameter tubing is supplied in a 300-foot coil, providing exceptional flexibility that reduces the number of required fittings and potential leak points. It features superior corrosion resistance and durability, making it suitable for burial in concrete or installation behind wallboard. Compatible with crimp, cinch, and push-to-connect fitting systems, this white PEX-B tubing is rated for both hot and cold water lines with a maximum pressure of 160 psi at 73°F.

PEX tubing is cross-linked, high-density polyethylene. The silane method, also called the moisture cure method, results in PEX-B. In this method, cross-linking is performed in a secondary post-extrusion process, producing cross-links between a cross-linking agent. The process is accelerated with heat and moisture. The cross-linked bonds are formed through silanol condensation between two grafted vinyl trimethoxy silane (VTMS) units, connecting the polyethylene chains with C-C-Si-O-SiC-C bridges. PEX tubing is for use in hot and cold potable water distribution systems. PEX tubing can also be used in continuously recirculating plumbing systems up to 140 deg F while maintaining chlorine resistance. The tubing may be installed in concrete, gypsum based lightweight concrete, sand, asphalt, in or under wood flooring or behind wallboard or plaster.
