3M Fire Barrier Water Tight Sealant 1000 NS is a high-performance, single-component silicone sealant designed for firestopping vertical surfaces and joints. This non-slump, neutral-cure formula provides up to a 3-hour fire rating in accordance with ASTM E814 (UL 1479) and a 4-hour rating for construction joints per ASTM E1966. It effectively blocks the spread of fire, smoke, and noxious gases while maintaining a Class 1 W-Rating for water tightness. The sealant offers +/- 31% movement capability, making it ideal for dynamic and static construction joints, perimeter fire barriers, and through-penetrations. Additionally, it provides acoustic benefits with an STC rating of 56 and is compatible with CPVC piping.
