Southwire Duraclad Type AC Armored Cable is a high-performance solution for branch, feeder, and service power distribution in commercial, industrial, and multi-residential buildings. This 100-foot coil features 12 AWG soft-drawn solid copper conductors with THHN/THWN insulation, providing a 20-amp capacity at 600 volts. The assembly is protected by a rugged interlocking galvanized steel armor that offers superior mechanical protection against crushing and physical damage. A 16 AWG aluminum bond wire is integrated within the armor to ensure a reliable grounding path in conjunction with the steel sheath. Designed for dry locations, this cable can be fished through walls, embedded in plaster, or installed in cable trays and approved raceways.
