Southwire Type SE, Style U (SEU) cable is a high-performance service entrance solution designed to convey power from the service drop to the meter base and from the meter base to the distribution panelboard. This 500-foot reel features two 4/0 AWG phase conductors and a 2/0 AWG concentric neutral, all constructed from AlumaFlex AA-8000 series aluminum alloy for superior flexibility. The conductors are insulated with cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) and encased in a gray, sunlight-resistant, flame-retardant PVC outer jacket. Rated for 600 volts and a maximum operating temperature of 90°C in both wet and dry locations, it is ideal for residential and commercial branch circuits or feeders. This cable is UL listed and meets NEC Article 338 requirements for above-ground installations.

Used to convey power from the service drop to the meter base and from the meter base to the distribution panelboard. Also may be used for certain branch circuits as permitted by the NEC. Suitable for use at temperatures not to exceed 90 deg C in wet or dry locations. Meets or exceeds UL Standard 44 for Type XHHW-02 conductors or UL Standard 83 for Type THHN/THWN, UL Standard 854, Federal Specification A-A-5944 and NEC requirements.
