Southwire Duraclad Type AC Armored Cable is a high-quality solution for branch, feeder, and service power distribution in commercial, industrial, and multi-residential buildings. This 12/2 cable features two 12 AWG solid copper conductors with THHN/THWN insulation, rated for 600 volts and temperatures up to 90°C in dry locations. The assembly is protected by a flexible, interlocked lightweight steel armor that provides excellent mechanical protection and eliminates the need for conduit and elbows. It includes a 16 AWG internal bonding wire that works in conjunction with the steel armor to provide a continuous grounding path. This 25-foot coil comes with anti-short bushings and is ideal for small electrical projects, renovations, and maintenance tasks.
